Open-concept house plans have been very popular in recent years. Also, known as open floor plan homes, an open concept house has a floor plan layout that has all of the main common spaces of the home open to each other. There are no walls defining spaces like the kitchen, living room, and dining spaces. The only spacial definition of these rooms is by the placement of furniture and interior decor. There are pros and cons to having a larger open space, however, these are determined by lifestyle and the needs of the client.
