In 2005, Allison graduated with an AAS Degree in the award winning NKBA accredited Interior Design program from DCTC in the twin cities. After working in the Cedar Rapids area for nearly two years at a high-end interior design firm she caught the eye of Ahmann Design and was offered a sales position in 2007 working alongside Joe Ahmann on plan modifications and custom design.

Allison’s strong management style makes her a unique asset within the design department where she oversees well over 1,000 local and national projects annually. Her ability to direct the team in daily work has allowed Ahmann Design to grow to one of the nation’s well-known design firms. Allison’s approachable personality and ability to incorporate her clients’ wishes into their dream home has made her a highly demanded designer requested by many.

Her passion for design not only shows in her work here at Ahmann Design but at home as well. She and her husband enjoy remodeling projects and recently completed a huge overhaul on their own home where her own personal experiences are shared with clients in the remodeling market. In addition to her passion for design, Allison also enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children as well as flipping and repurposing antique furniture, gardening and cooking.
